Returns & Right of Withdrawal

You have a 30-day right of withdrawal.

The buyer is entitled to withdraw from the order within 30 working days after receiving the goods and to return the goods to the seller without providing any reason. This right of withdrawal applies to consumers only and does not apply to business customers.

In the event of withdrawal, the goods must be returned to us complete, unused and in their original, resalable condition. The goods must be returned in their original packaging and using a traceable shipping method with a tracking number.

When returning an item, all protective and separating elements included in the respective product packaging must be used correctly (e.g. for Globe and Nook). These elements are designed to protect the delicate natural stone objects during transportation.

If the goods are not returned properly or without the designated protective and separating elements and are damaged as a result, we reserve the right to claim appropriate compensation for any loss in value in accordance with Section 357(7) of the German Civil Code (BGB). Products damaged as a result of improper handling or packaging are excluded from exchange.

Custom-made products, including personalised products or orders manufactured according to the customer’s specifications, are excluded from the right of return and the right of withdrawal.

The buyer is responsible for the costs of returning the goods. Returns must be sent using a traceable shipping method and include a tracking number. The amount to be refunded may be reduced accordingly if the items show signs of use, are damaged or are incomplete.

Withdrawal Period

For the 30-day withdrawal period, Saturdays are not considered working days. The period begins on the day the buyer receives the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal within the applicable period, it is sufficient to send the notice of withdrawal by email to info@pacu-studios.de within the withdrawal period.

In the event of a valid withdrawal, the goods and any benefits received must be returned or reimbursed. If the value of the goods has been diminished by the buyer, the buyer may be liable for the resulting loss in value. This does not apply where the diminished value results solely from handling the goods to the extent necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning, as would have been possible in a retail store.

The buyer bears the direct costs of returning the goods.

The buyer also bears the return shipping costs if the order is returned, exchanged or subject to a complaint solely due to minor variations resulting from the handcrafted nature of the products and/or the natural characteristics of natural stone. Such variations — for example, differences in veining, colour or similar natural characteristics — do not constitute a defect and do not entitle the buyer to reimbursement of return shipping costs.

Returns Due to Defects

If a return is necessary due to a defect or damage to the goods, we will cover the return shipping costs up to the amount that would have been incurred when using our standard shipping provider (Hermes).

If you choose a different shipping provider or a shipping method that differs from the standard shipping rates, such as express shipping, bulky-goods shipping or similar services, we will reimburse only the amount corresponding to the lowest applicable standard rate offered by our shipping partner.
