Sacred Wood from Piura, Peru

What it's known for

Clarity · Calm · Protection

Burned for centuries not just for its fragrance, but for the shift it brings to a room — and to the person in it.

Clarity

Traditionally lit to clear a cluttered mind before focus or reflection.

Calm

A slow-burning ritual that steadies the breath and settles the room.

Grounding

An earthy warmth said to anchor restless energy back to the present.

Protection

Long carried as a guardian scent — burned to mark a space as sacred.

How to light it

The Ritual

01

Light the tip

Hold a flame to the tip of the stick for a few seconds, until it catches.

02

Let it settle to a smoulder

Blow out the flame gently. The ember will keep burning slowly, releasing a steady thread of smoke.

03

Rest it in the Globe or Bowl

Set the stick in a heatproof holder and let the smoke rise at its own pace, filling the room.

Questions

Everything You Need to Know

Our Palo Santo is sourced from Piura in Northern Peru, a region known for producing some of the most aromatic Palo Santo in the world.

Yes. We use only naturally fallen wood, traditionally aged for at least four years before harvesting — never cut from living trees. Every order supports a local reforestation initiative in Piura.

Each stick measures roughly 10 cm and can be lit up to 15 times, depending on how long you let it burn each time.

A complex, warm aroma with notes of sweet resin, incense, mint, coconut and soft pine — calming and grounding rather than sharp or smoky.

Keep the sticks somewhere dry and out of direct sunlight. The natural resin content is what gives Palo Santo its fragrance, so dry storage keeps it at its best.
