Premium Palo Santo (3 pcs.)
Palo Santo is a revered, sacred wood with a distinctive, bright and sweet scent that is traditionally used to cleanse space and increase energy.
Palo Santo, which means “holy wood,” comes from the tree Bursera graveolens, which is found mainly in the tropical regions of South America, especially Ecuador and Peru.
Palo Santo is known for its unique, sweet and slightly citrusy scent that is released when burned. The wood's essential oils contain a variety of chemical compounds, including limonene, which is said to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Frequently Asked Questions
We are here to help you with any questions you may have about our Palo Santo Premium Sticks. Below you will find some frequently asked questions and their answers to help you get the best Palo Santo experience.
What does Palo Santo smell like?
The smell of Palo Santo is absolutely unique and difficult to describe. You could say it smells like a mixture of coconut, frankincense, mint and conifer.
What makes Palo Santo so special?
The uniqueness of Palo Santo lies in the high concentration of essential oils in the wood (resin). There are over 100 different oils in the resin! For thousands of years, the incense wood has been used for shamanic rituals and in natural medicine (against rheumatism, muscle pain and inflammation). Palo Santo is not only suitable for cleansing rituals, but also creates a calming atmosphere. In aromatherapy, the wood is valued for its euphoric, aphrodisiac and anti-anxiety effects. It also helps reduce stress and supports the recognition of life goals, the vision quest and creativity.
How is Palo Santo made?
In order for sufficient resin, i.e. the naturally occurring essential oils, to develop, the tree must go through a long, natural cycle. For this to happen, the tree must die naturally , a process that takes at least 40 years. The life cycle of the Bursera graveolens (the name of the Palo Santo tree) ends after about 100 years due to insect infestation. If a tree has died naturally, the wood must mature for another 2-6 years in order to fully develop its essential oils. This is a natural metamorphosis process.
For this reason, Palo Santo is a little more expensive than other incense. The long production time also carries the risk that the wild trees, which are protected under nature conservation law, will be felled prematurely. It is therefore important to obtain this special wood from a sustainable source. Care must be taken to ensure that only the dead branches and trunks of the trees are harvested, as these contain the resin needed for incense. Care must also be taken to ensure that harvesting only takes place in districts approved by the government and that no wild harvesting is carried out on trees that are still alive.
So choose our high-quality Palo Santo and do something good for yourself and for Mother Nature. Together we can make a difference, one stick at a time.
