What is the best way to clean marble?
Step-by-step instructions for cleaning marble objects
1. Preparations
Before you start cleaning, remove dirt and dust from the marble surface using a broom or hand brush. Be careful not to use sharp edges or tools to avoid scratches.
2. Prepare cleaning solution
In a bucket, mix warm water with a few drops of mild soap or a special marble cleaner. Avoid alkaline or acidic cleaners as these can damage the material.
3. Wipe marble
Dampen a microfiber cloth with the cleaning solution. Wring it out well so that it is only slightly damp. Wipe the marble surface gently, always starting in one direction to avoid streaks. If the surface is heavily soiled, you can rub the cloth a little harder, but always gently.
4. How to deal with stains
If there are stubborn stains, you can make a paste of baking soda and water. Apply this paste to the stain and leave it for about 10-15 minutes. Then gently wipe the area with a damp cloth.
5. Rinse
After cleaning the entire surface, rinse the marble object with clean water, using a fresh, clean cloth to remove any soap residue.
6. Drying
Immediately dry the marble surface with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. This will prevent any water stains or residue from remaining.
7. Polishing (optional)
For extra shine, you can use a special marble polish. Apply this with a clean cloth and gently buff the surface. This will help protect the marble surface and give it a radiant finish.

The Nook was designed for 3 tea lights. This creates a cozy brightness and the marble hardly heats up.
You can also use a narrow pillar candle with a diameter of max. 4.5 cm.
