The entire piece is cut paper-thin — marble reduced to its most delicate possible form, so fine that flame passes straight through it as light. Few ateliers will attempt the cut. Fewer still will risk the yield.

What remains is a single, unrepeatable object: a candle holder by evening, a vessel for a single stem by morning — luminous in a way that resin and ceramic can only imitate.

The outer stone stays cool to the touch. Only the interior surrounding the tealights warms gently — the marble absorbs and diffuses the heat rather than holding it.

Yes. Viola is a natural marble with violet-grey veining that varies block to block, so the piece you receive will carry its own unrepeatable pattern.

Yes. The marble is sealed and water-resistant, so fresh-cut stems standing directly in water are no issue. We still recommend wiping any spills promptly to keep the surface at its best.

Standard tealights fit best and burn safely inside the hollow. We would not recommend tall taper candles, which can drip wax against the stone.

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners — the matt surface holds its look with minimal care.

Shipping within Germany is free from 120€. EU shipping is 16€. For international orders outside the EU, shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
