ABOUT THE BRAND
The name PȺCU STUDIOS, /ˈpa.kuː/, combines four dimensions: Place. Peace. Curandero. And the Ⱥ – the crossed-out. The missing.
PȺCU STUDIOS sees home not as a place, but as a state of being. Our objects aren't decorations – they're anchors. For moments when you lose yourself and want to find your way back to yourself.
"Curandero" – Spanish for healer – in our name refers to the origin of our first product: Palo Santo. Our journey began with this special wood from Peru, traditionally used by curanderos for moments of purification and tranquility. This material was the starting point for PȺCU STUDIOS – and to this day, it shapes our approach: reduced, conscious, authentic.
The Ⱥ in our name refers to Lacan's S(Ⱥ) – the signifier of the Other, crossed out. For us, it stands not for theory, but for experience. For the moment when nothing was certain anymore. For the feeling of emptiness, restlessness, disorientation – and the decision to start anew from precisely that point.
"STUDIOS" represents our design approach: carefully curated, materially conscious, and always with an eye for form, function, and effect. It reflects our commitment to transforming simple rituals into special objects—with time, depth, and substance. Every stone, every line, every surface is deliberately chosen. Our work is not a mass product, but a quiet creative act.
PȺCU STUDIOS was founded out of a sense of scarcity. Out of the desire to create something authentic amidst fear, noise, and overwhelm: a quiet place in everyday life. An object that lasts when everything else is fleeting.

The fear came suddenly—and with it the need for something real. Something that grounds me, calms me, and reminds me: breathing.
PȺCU STUDIOS was born out of a personal need – not a business plan.
I, Cyn, have experienced firsthand what it means to get lost in the noise of everyday life.
Palo Santo became my anchor.
And from that moment an idea came:
